St. Francis of Assisi Council 13456 and St. Padre Pio Circle 4992, both in Henderson, competed in their annual flag football game. Knights provided food and refreshments to all participants after the game.

Sixteen Squires from St. Padre Pio Circle 4992 in Henderson enjoyed an afternoon of bowling at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas. Members of the circle who work as altar servers also participated in the Holy Thursday Mass at their parish.

Mother Seton Circle 5271 in Las Vegas sold doughnuts at its parish following Sunday Mass. Sales exceeded $300, all of which was donated to a girl's academy in Uganda.

APRIL 2010

St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Council 10442 in Las Vegas purchased and installed an 18-shelf warming oven at its parish. The unit, which cost approximately $1,100, will aid with food service at parish events. The council also held its annual St. Valentine's Day sweetheart dance for nearly 300 area parishioners. Attendees enjoyed a prime rib dinner, music and dancing.

Christ the King Council 7322 in Reno sponsored a bus for religious education students at St. Albert the Great Church to attend Walk for Life West Coast Jan. 23 in San Francisco. The council also purchased several signs for attendees to carry during the event.
