Rev. Dino thanks State Council for Seminarian offering
Bishop of the Byzantine Catholic
Eparchy of Van Nuys
Brother
Knights and Ladies,
I received a letter of sincere thanks from Most Rev.
Gerald N. Dino, Bishop of the Eparchy of Van Nuys, for
the gift of $2,746.89 which was given to him from the
Nevada State Council/Seminarian Raffle Fund. The
monies will go to offset the cost of the expenses for
Seminarian, Diodoro Mendoza from Our Lady of Wisdom
Church in Las Vegas. His studies are at the SS.
Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Seminary in
Pittsburgh, PA. Bishop Dino has asked for us to
keep Diodoro in our prayers.
I want to thank all my Brother Knights and their
families, for their donations, time, and selfless efforts
given; that make our Seminarian Raffle Fund possible and
successful.
Please See Bishop Dino's thank you letter below.

"I will assist (be present) at the hour of your

Living
Rosary services
Fallon, & Reno
Council
4828 in Fallon
sponsors Living Rosary Prayer Services on the 1st
Saturdays of each month at 9:00 a.m. and on the 3rd
Wednesdays of each month, typically at 7:00 p.m., just
before their regular business meeting. Everyone is
invited.
If
you live closer to Reno, or are going to be in
the Reno area, then please plan to attend the Living
Rosary services that are typically held over there at the
same time (across from the abortion center near
Meadowood Mall.) It doesn't matter where
you attend these services, the most important thing is
that we get as many people as possible to join in prayer
for an end to abortion and for the protection of life at
all stages, so please help spread the word about both the
Reno and Fallon services to all of our fellow Br.
Knights and to our fellow parishioners.

Commitment to You
by Supreme Knight Carl A.
Anderson
- 9/7/2007
We do not invest in high-risk vehicles such
as derivatives and junk bonds, nor do we invest in the
types of structured transactions that are currently
causing such turmoil in the markets. We stay away from
them not because we don't understand them - but because
we do understand them - and the risk they entail.
